Herriard, St Mary
Due to the current COVID 19 Pandemic please check the Parish Magazine for updates on Services & events
Rector: Reverend Simon Butler
St. Mary’s is a large beautiful Norman church which can be found in Herriard on the A339 between Basingstoke and Alton. Details of its history may be found here.
There are services most Sundays, the worship pattern encompassing a wide variety of traditions from the 1662 Communion service through to an informal monthly family service. The church receives much support from the village, and this is particularly the case at Harvest, Remembrance Sunday, the Advent evening Carol Service and Christingle and Christmas services in December.
There is also a weekday communion service, at 10.00am on the 3rd Thursday of most months, which lasts about 30 minutes and is followed by coffee and refreshments.
All are welcome to all services. All the services are followed by refreshments to give us an opportunity to meet with one another.
